SUGGESTIONS FOR THE PRESENTATIONS
These are some tips for you to consider in your presentations.
  1. Create readable slides with dark letter and
  2. Design your PowerPoint presentation on white background and dark print.
  3. Do not write paragraphs. Keep in mind write sentences or keywords.
  4. Put dark text on a light background.
  5. Centered text is harder to read and looks amateurish. Line up all your text to a right-hand or left-hand baseline – it will look better and be easier to follow.
  6. Use images sparingly to avoid distraction of audience.
  7. Have a visual theme, but avoid using PowerPoint templates
  8. Practice before the event. Rehearsal will give you more confidence.
  9. The title of the presentation should clearly reflect its content, without a colon or quotation marks
  10. During the presentation, minimize reading as much as possible. Talk to the audience and try to involve them in the presentation.
